The Sepehr-Jufair Field is located in the Abadan Plain, Southwest of Khuzestan Province, about 60 km West of Ahwaz and 30 km South of Susangerd. Currently, Speher and Jufair oildfield has been developed with drilling 12 Fahliyan wells by Pasargad E&P Company. The main hazards specifically to the Sepehr-Jufair Field are related to the H2S content of the associated gas to be produced from the Sarvak and Fahliyan reservoirs and the high-pressure conditions in all wells drilled into formations below the base of Sarvak.

The contract was concluded between Pasargad E&P Co. (Client) and Mapna drilling Co. (Contractor) for drilling, completion, welltesting and stimulation for Eight (8) vertical wells.
