The contract was concluded between IGEDC, representing the National Iranian Gas Company (the Client), Mapna Group (the Project Investor), and Neyr Perse Company (the Consortium Leader). The agreement includes drilling 28 wells and constructing wellhead facilities, flow lines, and associated gas injection systems.
Mapna Oil & Gas Development Company (PMC) is executing and implementing the project in collaboration with a consortium that includes Neyr Perse Company (responsible for surface operations), Mapna Drilling Company (responsible for subsurface operations), Mapna Group (Tuga, which specializes in turbo compressor manufacturing), and Mapna International Company.
Mapna Group is the first private company entrusted with managing gas storage in Iran. In collaboration with Mapna Drilling Company, it is currently implementing a national strategic project. With the execution of the second phase of gas storage at the Khangiran Field under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contract, Iran is poised to become the largest gas storage country in the Middle East and one of the five largest countries globally with underground reservoirs for natural gas storage.
